Analysis and Simulation of Long Range Radar LTR25

PROJECT DETAILS

  • Client: INDRA
  • Date: 2012-2019
  • Technology: FEM models, dynamic analysis (transient and PSD), blast loads, design.

INTRODUCTION

ICEMM has carried out the mechanical and structural analysis of the LTR25 military radar, INDRA’s new product of the Lanza family of radars. The analyses carried out were aimed at optimising the weight of the structure while maintaining all the structural requirements demanded by the client. These requirements range from flexibility and fatigue analysis for operational situations, mechanical resistance to environmental loads, road and air transport loads (including random vibrations and shock) and blast load survivability.
