INTRODUCTION

The water supply plant, Barka Res & PS Compound, has 8 water tanks connected by a suction network to the existing pumping station. The complex has been expanded with the installation of a new pump station, New Barka Pump Station, which will receive water from the existing reservoirs by connecting a new line. Due to the expansion of the plant, the existing pipe network has been upgraded by adding or removing pipe sections.

  • Stationary hydraulic analysis of the entire circuit
  • Submergence and NPSH analysis
  • CFD simulation:
    • New Barka pumping station
    • Complete piping network
    • Suction intakes in reservoir
