ICEMM carried out the engineering for the improvement of the drives of the dome gates of the Gran Telescopio de Canarias:

The drive improvement plan involved modifications to the following systems:
  • At the upper station:
    • Auxiliary motor support structure
    • Chain catcher lever
    • Chain take-up lever stopper
    • Chain tensioning box
    • Tensioning bar
  • At the lower station :
    • Chain catcher lever
    • Chain tensioner box
    • Tensioning bar
  • Wind screen drive structure
  • Door elastic accumulator actuator
