ICEMM carried out the engineering for the improvement of the drives of the dome gates of the Gran Telescopio de Canarias:

Development Engineering
3D design and fabrication drawings
Structural justification
Calculation of mechanical systems

The drive improvement plan involved modifications to the following systems:

At the upper station:
- Auxiliary motor support structure
- Chain catcher lever
- Chain take-up lever stopper
- Chain tensioning box
- Tensioning bar
At the lower station :
- Chain catcher lever
- Chain tensioner box
- Tensioning bar
Wind screen drive structure
Door elastic accumulator actuator
